Start a new project in 2022
(and make an agent fall in love)
As a book doctor and a coach, I'm asked this question all the time. You've finally got a complete draft of your novel in hand. You're ready for the submissions process, right? Not so fast. You've heard all the stories. Those who rush to send off their work to an agent often cringe with disappointment later when they don't get a single bite. If this has happened to you or even if you've waited but have been putting off the revision process, take a deep breath. I've got you! Let's get revising.
My revision course will help you put that crucial, final polish on your work and ensure you're bringing your A game to the submission process. It will walk you through the paces I use with my private clients. You'll learn how to strengthen: your novel's structure, character development, character arcs, scene work, set up of your central conflict, relationship dynamics, world, dialogue, and pacing. You will gain all the tools necessary to revise your draft into a submission-worthy manuscript.
No one can guarantee agent or editor interest, of course. But I've been in publishing for decades, know what it takes to succeed, and can guarantee that if you follow the steps, you will be closer than ever to your goals. Your publication prospects will improve--and you'll deepen your understanding and practice of the craft. You can also sign up for an optional individualized consult on your pages and get personalized feedback at a discounted price.
